About One Shift

Hi, I’m Samantha.

For much of my career, I lived in the world of high performance.

I spent more than 15 years in fast-paced sales and leadership roles where results mattered, pressure was constant, and slowing down rarely felt like an option. From the outside, my career looked successful. Inside, I understood there is a cost that often accompanies achievement, which is the pressure to keep performing, the difficulty of disconnecting, and the belief that success required sacrificing parts of yourself.

That experience is what eventually led me to create One Shift.

Growing up in a Navy family, I have lived overseas on many occasions which has given me an appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and ways of seeing the world.  It has also taught me that regardless of where we live or what we do, we all carry patterns that shape how we respond to pressure, relationships, and change. 

Since my teenage years, I’ve navigated anxiety rooted in difficult life experiences. Like many high achievers, I became very good at pushing through. What I eventually learned is that pushing through isn’t the same as thriving.

That realization sparked a lifelong commitment to understanding human behavior, performance, and well-being. I am excited to partner with you. 

My Approach

My approach is grounded in both lived experience and evidence-informed practices. Transformational coaching that facilitates the inner work, mind-body practices that restore regulation and connection, and wellness education that helps you understand the science behind lasting change.
